Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan better known as Sundar Picha, is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4] Pichai received his master's degree in metallurgical engineering at IIT Kharagpur. He obtained an M.S. in the United States after relocating to the United States. from Stanford University in materials science and engineering . He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in which he was awarded the Siebel Scholar and an Palmer Scholar, respectively.Pchai began his career as a materials engineer. After a brief stint with McKinsey and Co. as an expert in management consulting, Pichai was hired by Google in 2004 to head the management of product and innovation for a variety of Google's client products. They comprised ChromeOS and ChromeOS. Additionally, he led Google Drive. He also oversees the development of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai announced WebM in 2010, and also announced open-sourcing the latest codec to play video by Google. The Chromebook came out in 2012. Pichai also added Android to the Google products that he managed in 2013.
