Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. She is the daughter of an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four of them are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. They were originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she did not take the time to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and participated in plays. In her 16th year, she quit school and pursued a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actress at a young age. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
