Amanda Blake

Amanda Blake (born Beverly Louise Neill) was a known American actor. Her most well-known role was as the character Miss Kitty Russell on the TV program 'Gunsmoke.' Alongside this the show, she also appeared in television series such as "The Red Skelton Show", "Tattletales" and "The Edge of Night". In addition to dozens of films, she's appeared in numerous television series, like Stars In My Crown, Duchess of Idaho, ?Cattle Town ?TM, ?Miss Robin Crusoe $1, "About Mrs. Leslie ?TMs Life ?TM, le de France, the Adventures of HajjibabaA High Society, and more. Blake is an operator of telephones by trade, loved animals. She and her husband Frank Gilbert and she were among the first people who successfully bred Cheetahs. This American actor was among co-founders of Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL). She was even a one-time committee member for the Humane Society of the United States. Blake has been awarded many honors and was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
